Now that was a nice surprise Friday afternoon when I met Peter Cottle and his friends: for the first time in Europe (and the only ones)....Badis kyar (wild from Myitkyina)!
Three fish I have now; I think one male and two females and the male really knows what he wants and started to take on other fish right away; not a scared bone in his body. And man, what are they elongated and slender; beautiful fish! Here're some photos.

Apparently I had the sexes wrong: only the very, very slender one is male, the other one is female.
