I have now seen my AFM article and you could say a few very important things are translated incorrectly, and a few things added that I did not wirte, and some equally important things are left out. Together they changed the entire context. How unfortunate.
1. The title in AFM now says the opposite of what I meant and should have read: "Badis singenensis, the most unique badid gets a name – or does it?"
2. The phrase about the new species not being placed in a group; I did not wirte that and it should not be there.
3. That entire phrase regarding 'Buxa, Buxar and blosyrus'; I did not write that and it should not be there.
4. A note has been left out: "Whether or not Badis sp. ‘Buxar’ proves to be truly conspecific with B. singenensis needs to be studied, by examining and comparing the former to the latter."
Anyone curious as to what I wrote, let me know and I can tell you exactly.
Hi, Stefan!
What about a correct version of your article right here? Or in "der Makropode"?
I can translate it if you want.

Hi Charly,
I like that idea a lot, for the mag. I'll have to clear it with the AFM editor though, and get back to you. Thanks for the offer.
Stefan
Charly, I will prepare the paper for Der Makropode.
Great!

Thread archaeology!
So, if I combine this discusssion above with the description of Badis laspiophilus as e.g. linked there viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7473 I conclude that Basis sp. Buxar is in reality Badis laspiophilus!?
I guess, to understand the differences between B. singenensis and B. laspiophilus I would need to see both of them side by side.
