"Neuer" Badis

But you can take any photo of a typical B. badis.
They look all the same.
My theory (although Auke started kidding me with all the spots and dots):
Badis badis from the lowlands of West Bengal, Bihar, Bangla Desh and Assam, that means the source area of Ganges and Brahmaputra, look the same, because they get mixed every umptysomething years by great floods.
With the Badis from the upland streams it is different, because every one is neatly isolated in its own river.
So we can expect a lot of new Badis from north Bengal and north Assam, and of course from Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and so on,
but none from the southern flatlands.
And, to get it right, Badis badis "Gopal Ganj" from Bangla Desh has nothing to do with Dario sp. Bangla Desh.
Gopal Ganj is a place in the flatlands of central Bangla Desh, not far from Dhaka. I got the fish from an aquarist who is married to a woman from Bangla Desh and thus travelling there from time to time (Danke, Kurt!)
And, by the way, I'm breeding them for the third generation.
Hard to believe, that I didn't tellyou.

That's okay Charly; I'm just dying of curiosity thanks for the offer, however I would really like to see them first. I've had to many 'special species' turning out to be Badis badis and I'm short on space atm.

Still no pics of having them examined? Forgot all about this one haha!
