nun haben wir wieder etwas Licht ins Dunkel!!!

Ich habe gerade von meinem Bangkok Kontakt folgende Email bekommen:

Hey Pascal,

Guess what, Hans-Georg Evers was with me when I purchased them from in front of the 7-11 shop today. I received your email on Friday night. Talked to Nonn on Saturday to track them down. He confirmed their existence and on Sunday I went with Hans. Nonn asked the guy selling them and the story is that they came in with Scistura balteata "Sumo II". That would place their locality as Ataran, Thai Burmese border. But this is suspiscious, as they really look tlike they should be western Burma, Rakkhine or Chin as they look like they should be the missing link/intergrade for the gachua into the assamese dwarfs. So next step is I am asking my Burmese suppliers if they know of this.

In the past few days since Wednesday when they first appeared on the streets it has heated up considereably and some shops are selling them at ten times the price. You do not owe me anything. Hopefully you will have a pair in these four pieces.
They are called Channa sp. Ice & Fire.

Was für schöne Fische, v.a. wenn man davon ausgeht, dass die mit Eingewöhnung und Wachstum noch prächtiger werden! Die Kehlzeichnung erinnert ja tatsächlich an die LalCheng!

Und sie kommen gleich in Reichweite, das spricht wirklich für die IGL. Weiter so!

sind denn die Tiere schon eingetroffen?

Würde sie gerne mal in natürlicher Färbung sehen...

Der auf dem Boden liegende ähnelt in der Färbung doch meinen Gachuas... der orange Saum an den Flossen, der braungefleckte Rücken und die roten Striche am Auge...

Sorry falls ich als Laie da was entscheidendes übersehe...

wahrscheinlich ist das interessant fuer euch, die Varianten von gachua aus NordOst Indien, vor allem Assam haben eine sehr aehnliche Zeichnung am Kopf. Allerdings nicht um den Mund rum.

Habt ihr schon Photos gemacht von den Burmesen?

Hallo Pascal,

Vielleicht kannst Du mir helfen? Ich suche Kontakte zu einem Händler der mir Tiere aus Thailand exportieren kann.... Ich fliege Ende Februar nach Thailand.
